It is with great sadness that the family of Daniel Michael Krause announce his passing on January 14, 2025. He was born on May 22, 1972, to Edgar and Jennifer (Hatchell) Krause. 

Dan was a resident of West Bend. His love of automotive repair began at the young age of 17 while he worked at West Bend Tire. Eventually, Dan went on to pour his heart and soul into his own business, D&M Automotive. D&M stood for Dan and Morgan. Morgan, Dan’s daughter, was his helping hand throughout the years. Dan will be greatly missed by his pride, his joy, his everything, his daughter, Morgan Krause. He will also be missed by his older daughter, Chelsea Chandler; his brothers, Eddie (Tanya) Krause, and Tony (Mary) Krause; his sister, Sally (Chuck) May; his nieces and nephews, Ashley Krause, Anthony May, Thomas May, and Isabella May; his uncles, Gerald (Kathi) Krause, Charlie (Diane) Krause; his aunt, Joanne (Al) Sunn; along with his cousins; his friends, Ryan and Kerry Hughes; and the many friends and customers he met along the way. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Edgar Krause and his mother, Jennifer (Hatchell) Krause. 

Visitation will be at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home in West Bend on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, from 5:00-6:45 p.m. with a short service to follow at 7:00 p.m.
