Dear Family and Friends,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Daniel James Ledesma, 36, of Newark, California, who gained his wings on February 1, 2026. Born on January 14, 1990, in Hayward, California to Patti and Gabe Ledesma, DJ brought light and joy everywhere he went. He was known for his infectious laugh, vibrant personality, and the kind of boisterous energy that could brighten any room. His heart was enormous, and his generosity knew no limits, he never hesitated to offer help, comfort, or even a place to stay to anyone in need.

DJ was a loyal friend, a beloved brother, a loving father, and a devoted son. His presence was unforgettable, and his love will continue to live on through all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving children, Gabriel, Aiyanna, and Mireya; his devoted parents, Patricia and Gabriel; his brothers, Delfino (Karina) and Joseph (Rebecca); his nieces, Avianna and Gabriella; his nephews, Julian, Jace, and Isaiah; his uncles, Jerry and Scott; his aunts, Kathy and Cindy and many dear cousins: Marie, Oj, Malisa, Angie, Angelica, Brandon, Anthony, Angelo, Nathaniel, Payton, Alexis, Jocelyn, Michael, Sophia, Joshua, Brian, Stacey, and Brianna.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 12 PM at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd, Fremont, CA 94536.

May he rest peacefully, wrapped in eternal light, and may the love he shared continue to surround us always. With love and remembrance.
