Daniel Lorin Lords, known affectionately as Dani, passed away on July 13, 2024, at the age of 48, in Kearns, Utah. Born in Salmon, Idaho, he was fostered and then adopted by Lorin and Vicky who quickly fell in love with the cute little boy that stole their hearts. He graduated from Taylorsville High School and earned an associate's degree in technology from SLCC. Dani was a beacon of kindness and resilience, cherished by all who knew him.

Dani faced numerous health challenges throughout his life, yet he approached each day with unwavering strength and love. He survived leukemia in his late teen years, was an Eagle Scout, and went on to serve an LDS mission to Boston, Massachusetts. He returned to Utah and worked in customer support for various tech companies and their clients. His passions in life were diverse and heartfelt, ranging from scouting, horses, and cooking to music and singing, computers, and whittling, and many more. Dani loved traveling, and especially loved going to Disneyland with his wife and family. Dani had a profound connection with animals and children, a magical bond that was evident to everyone around him.

Dani is survived by his wife, Marta Lords; parents, Vicky and Lorin Lords; siblings, Tamra "Echo" Lords, Krystal and George Pierce, and Jacob and Greta Lords. He also leaves behind many adoring nephews and nieces who love him dearly. Dani is also survived by Lawna and Beth, his two biological sisters with whom he reconnected later on in life.

The family invites friends and loved ones to gather on Saturday, July 20, 2024, for a viewing at 10 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at 11 a.m. All services will be held at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah. Interment will be at Taylorsville City Cemetery.

Dani's life was a testament to the power of love and perseverance. His legacy of kindness and connection will be cherished and remembered by all.
