Daniel Luna Tepepa, born on November 7, 1984, in Torrance, California, passed away on December 22, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. Throughout his life, Daniel was known as the life of the party, someone who never met a stranger. His larger-than-life personality endeared him to many, and he brightened the lives of those around him with his infectious enthusiasm.
Daniel was an avid fan of the Longhorns and Cowboys, showcasing his passion for sports with pride. He enjoyed golfing and dancing, pursuits that reflected his lively spirit and zest for life. Above all, Daniel held his family near to his heart, cherishing his nieces and nephews who were a source of immense joy for him.
He leaves behind a loving family that includes his parents, Arturo and Carolina Luna. He is also survived by his siblings: Arturo Jr. (Yolanda), Mayra (Manuel), Carmin, and Tonny (Kendal). Daniel's legacy continues through his numerous nieces and nephews, including Samantha, Jesus, Lorraine, Jacob, Nevaeh, Christopher, Anthony, Julia, Makayla, Manuel Jr., Annelisea, Meah, Madelynn, Matthew, Christopher, Cristiano, Ellie, Aria, Marina, and Sofia.
The family requests that everyone honor Daniel’s memory by dressing in their best Western wear and Longhorn attire as a tribute to his passions.
Services to celebrate Daniel’s life will be held at Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels, Northeast; 14315 Judson Road, San Antonio, Texas 78233. Visitation will take place on January 2, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by a prayer service at 1:00 PM. A graveside service will occur later that day at Holy Cross Cemetery, beginning at 2:30 PM.
Daniel Luna Tepepa will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
