Daniel Martin del Campo, affectionately known as "Daddio" and "Padre," passed away on December 26, 2024. Born on November 5, 1968, in Coahuila, Mexico, to Pablo Martin del Campo Limón and Francisca Calderón de Martin del Campo, Daniel was raised in Acuña, Mexico. He was a beloved business owner of Kolor-X, a skilled carpenter, contractor, amateur architect, and a CDL licensee.
Daniel was a devoted member of the Privately Sponsored Vision de Amor Alcance A Las Naciones A.C. orphanage. His hobbies included architectural designing, riding motorcycles, caring for horses, restoring classic cars, fishing, visiting gun ranges, and meeting new people. He was also a regular at flea markets, tinkering with technology, and was always enthusiastic about learning new things.
Married to his beloved wife, Amy Christine Martin del Campo, for 32 years, Daniel's life was filled with love, laughter, and the occasional misadventure, such as their memorable canoeing trip where Amy's steering accidentally landed Daniel face-to-face with a snake, or the time Daniel and his friend Joe hilariously and hesitantly freed a bobcat, much to their own terror.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife, Amy, and their children, Daniel Jr., Andrew, and Jesse; his brothers Pablo (Mary), David, Josue (Dolores), and Eliseo (Diana); and his sister Francisca (Francisco). He was a proud uncle to Pablo Jr., Josh, Paquito, Pablo, Isaac, Jose Jr., and his nieces Elizabeth, Tabita, Jackie, Adriana, Elissa, Davina, Eunice, Isabel, Jessica, Joslyn. He leaves behind many cousins and his exceptionally good friend, Nick.
His father, Pablo Martin del Campo Limón, mother, Francisca Calderón de Martin del Campo, and sister Sophia Jasmin "Maria" Martin del Campo predeceased him.
The family is deeply thankful for the immense love and prayers from all their family and friends, as well as the heartfelt texts, phone calls, time sacrificed, and numerous shoulders offered for comfort during this difficult time.
Daniel's passionate spirit and joyous love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was a remarkable man whose legacy of warmth, generosity, and vibrant enthusiasm will continue to inspire and live in the hearts of his loved ones forever.
