Daniel Miller Obituary
Daniel Monroe Miller, 87, of Minerva, formerly of Millersburg, went to be with the Lord Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Vista Veranda Assisted Living & Memory Care in Ravenna.
Dan was born October 26, 1936 in Clarence, NY to Monroe and Mary Ann (Yoder) Miller.
He married Ina Ruth Weaver on November 5, 1960 and they were blessed to have been married almost 60 years before Ina passed in 2020. Dan was a lifelong farmer with Ina at their family farm, RoSan Farms. He also had the privilege of farming with his brother-in-law, Myron Weaver, and son-in-law, Keith Holmes. Pulling farm tractors in the Holmes County Tractor Pull was the highlight of every summer. He was instrumental in helping to clear the Rails to Trails project from Fredericksburg to Millersburg. Dan was a longtime member of the Wooster Grace Church and enjoyed teaching Sunday school - finding him studying his Bible at his desk was common. After moving to Minerva, he became involved in the Bikers for Christ ministry with his son in law, Jerry Wheeler. We always said he had a passion for people to know Jesus and could talk to anyone! He and Ina also enjoyed traveling and spending time with family.
Dan will be deeply missed by his daughters, Elisa (Keith) Holmes of Hiram OH and Latecia (Jerry) Wheeler and their daughters Shelby & Abigail all of Minerva. Siblings Abe Miller, David Miller, Jay Miller, Lois Judd, Ruth Davenport, and Naomi Pace.
Dan was preceded in death by his wife, Ina, along with siblings Roy Miller, Edna Beachy, Fannie Marie Ressler, and Linda Miller.
Friends may call Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home – Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Services will be at the funeral home Tuesday at 11:00 am (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Daniel-Miller). Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
