Daniel F. Mlinar, a beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend, departed this world on February 22, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on June 25, 1958, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Daniel dedicated his life to helping others and cherishing the friendships he cultivated in his community.
Adele, his devoted wife, stood by him through all of life's adventures, reminding everyone of the deep bond they shared. Daniel was also a loving brother to Susan (the late Michael), Nik (Kathy), George (Patty), Pauline (Don), Steve, Joe (Joanne), Lori, Anna, Paul, and Greg (Cindy) who will forever hold in their hearts the innumerable fond memories they created together. His relationship with Joe was particularly special, as they often enjoyed going to the 7 Mile Fair, sharing laughter and creating lasting memories.
Daniel’s kindness extended far beyond his family. He made it a point to help many people within his neighborhood, always looking for ways to lend a hand or brighten someone’s day. His gentle spirit was exemplified by the care he showed to the neighborhood cats, ensuring they were well-fed and loved. Sundays were sacred for him as he would eagerly play pool with his dear nephew Stacy, relishing the camaraderie and joy that accompanied those afternoons.
An avid sports fan, Daniel had a particular passion for NASCAR, proudly cheering for Jeff Gordon, whose racing triumphs mirrored Daniel's own spirited approach to life. His zest for the thrill of the race brought joy not only to himself but also to the numerous friends who joined him in celebrating the sport.
Daniel leaves behind a legacy filled with gratitude, love, and an unyielding spirit of generosity. He is remembered fondly by his special Godson, Jeremy, and many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends whose lives he touched throughout his journey.
He is preceded in death by his his parents, George and Frieda; his sister Mary (Al); and his dear Grandma Sophie, alongside Adolph and Alice Eckert, his parents-in-law.
As we gather to remember and celebrate Daniel's remarkable life, we will cherish the laughter, love, and kindness he brought into our lives. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him dearly.
