Frank M. Mlinar

Frank Mathew Mlinar, age 71, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025, at AnMed Medical Center.
Born March 19, 1953, in Little Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Frank Mlinar and Maria Michelle Lamanna Mlinar.
Frank began his career at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY where he worked in the NIC unit with terminally ill patients. He returned to school and graduated with his P.A. and worked in the emergency room. In 2003, he and his family moved from upstate New York to Seneca, SC, where he worked for Blue Ridge Orthopedics until he retired. He then relocated to Anderson, SC, in 2015 calling it home. Frank was a volunteer fireman in Charlton, NY for over 15 years, and was an Eagle Scout. He never failed to lend a helping hand where needed. He was a member of St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, and camping.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Jean Lamb Mlinar; daughter, Amy Mlinar; son, Mathew John Mlinar (Kristin); and grandchildren, Brock and Hayden Mlinar. He was a loving Papa.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 2:00 pm at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church with a celebration luncheon following. The family will host a committal service at St. Paul of the Apostle Catholic Church in Seneca.
