Daniel Molloie Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Givnish Funeral Home - Marlton on Dec. 31, 2025.
Daniel Abraham Molloie, age 55, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on December 29, 2025, in Voorhees, New Jersey.

Danny was born on February 13, 1970, to Diane Storti and the late William Molloie. He was a beloved brother to Marybeth Kennealy (John), Bill Molloie (Linuo Yang), and a devoted uncle to Jake, Liam, Madelena, William, Zachary, Micah, and Olivia. He will also be deeply missed by his aunts, many cousins, and friends.

Danny attended The Church Farm School in Exton, Pennsylvania where he earned many awards, including the prestigious Headmaster's Watch Award, an award of the School's gratitude and admiration for that student whose particular character, ability, maturity, moral authority, spiritual balance, leadership and overall contributions to the School have made an enduring and lasting impact on the entire community. He continued his education at Rutgers University, where he earned his bachelor's degree, and went on to work for over twenty years as a Director with the Camden County Office of the Disabled. Despite physical challenges, Dan independently traveled to Camden each day in his wheelchair, a testament to his determination and resilience. Dan also served as a board member on the Advisory Council to the Camden County Division of Senior & Disabled Services.

Those who knew Dan appreciated his genuine presence, kindness, and sharp, sarcastic sense of humor. He was deeply caring and generous toward others. Dan was not held back by his disability and undertook many adventures such as bungee jumping from a hot air balloon, and parasailing from the back of a boat in North Carolina. Danny achieved extraordinary accomplishments throughout his life, overcoming significant hardships with strength, grace and a smile on his face.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to his longtime aide, Crystal, and many other aides who lovingly cared for Danny over the years.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026 at Givnish of Marlton, 398 East Main Street, Marlton, NJ, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a Life Celebration Service at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Danny's memory may be made to The Church Farm School, 1001 Lincoln Highway, Exton, PA 19341, or to the Friedreich's Ataxia Foundation.
