Daniel Robert Morris

Daniel Robert Morris, 44, of Dade City, Florida, passed away on July 16, 2025. Daniel was a man of quiet strength, deep faith, and generous spirit. Those who knew him remember his kindness, his dry sense of humor, and the way he was always ready to help others-especially those in need. A talented and curious soul, Daniel was an avid nature photographer whose work was featured in several national magazines. He was also a skilled musician, playing both trombone and acoustic guitar, and performed at local festivals with his high school band. He held a brown belt in Shorin-ryu karate and was a lifelong lover of the outdoors. Professionally, Daniel had worked as a freelance database programmer, building websites and supporting small businesses. He attended Sante Fe Community College in Gainesville, Florida for two years. He was a true entrepreneur, constantly developing creative ventures and exploring new ideas. He also had a deep appreciation for vintage items and spiritual history, collecting antique Bibles over the years. In his downtime, Daniel enjoyed playing video games and relaxing with his beloved cats-quietly content in his own world, yet always ready to make those around him laugh with a perfectly timed comment. Daniel is survived by his mother, Rebecca; his sister, Elizabeth; his brother, Thomas; his brother-in-law, John; and his nephew, William. Visitation and Funeral Services will be held at Coastal Cremations and Funeral Care 38333 5th Ave Zephyrhills, Florida on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 11-12:30 pm with burial to follow at Oakside Cemetery in Zephyrhills.
