Daniel Louis Novelli

Daniel Louis Novelli, known affectionately as Dan to his friends and family, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on August 5, 2025, in Mt. Ephraim, NJ, after a courageous battle with colon cancer. Born on May 2, 1949, in Philadelphia, PA, Dan's warmth and vivacity imbued every aspect of his 76 years of life.
Dan grew up in the bustling streets of Philadelphia and attended Dobbins Technical High School, where his sharp mind and quick wit were well recognized. After graduation, he honorably served in the United States Air Force, a period of his life that instilled in him a sense of discipline and pride that he carried throughout his life. He later channeled his technical skills into a fulfilling career as a repair technician for Sears Roebuck and Company, where his expertise and reliability made him a respected figure among colleagues and customers alike.
A devout Christian, Dan's faith was a cornerstone of his life, guiding his actions and providing comfort and strength during his final days. He lived his faith through his actions, always ready to lend a helping hand and offer words of encouragement to those around him.
Dan's love for music and his talent for playing the guitar were legendary. He found joy in entertaining others, whether it was through impromptu performances at family gatherings or the soft strumming of melodies that filled his home with warmth. His passion for cooking was another way he expressed his love for those around him, with every dish he prepared being a testament to his generosity and kindness.
His sense of humor was infectious, and Dan was often the life of the party, always ready with a joke or a funny story that would leave everyone around him in stitches. But it was his generous spirit and kind heart that truly set him apart, making him a beloved figure in his community and beyond.
Dan is survived by a loving family who will cherish his memory and continue his legacy: his son, Anthony Novelli; daughter-in-law, Stacey Novelli; grandchildren, Olivia and Anthony Novelli Jr; his daughter, Carlin Novelli; granddaughters, Giana and Lucia Paravati; his brother, Victor Novelli III; sister-in-law, Diane Novelli; and nephews, Brian and Steven Novelli, with his wife Becky. He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor C Novelli Jr and Julia Novelli.
The void left by Dan's absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the stories told, the music played, and the lives he touched. As we bid farewell to a man of great humor, generosity, and kindness, we take solace in the legacy of love and joy he leaves behind.
