Daniel J. O'Connell II, 69, of Schenectady, passed away on October 4, 2025 at Albany Medical Center.
He was born on August 19, 1956 to the late Daniel and Anita (Dillon) O'Connell in Troy, NY.
Daniel loved to travel, especially to Myrtle Beach and to his camp on Caroga Lake where he enjoyed times with his family. He had a passion for cars. He owned many in his lifetime, Mustangs being his favorite.
He worked for many years as a Depot Manager for Pepperidge Farms.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his beloved wife June, sister Anita and brother Brian.
Daniel is survived by his loving children, Valerie and Danny, grandchildren Cody and Kayleigh as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 11,from 9am-11am with a funeral service at 11am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, New York.
Interment immediately following in the Vale Cemetery .
