Born in Louisville on August 11, 1958, Danny spent most of his life in the Germantown neighborhood and part of his youth at St. Joseph's Orphanage. He operated a lawn service with his uncle before becoming disabled.
Danny enjoyed fishing, golfing, and playing cards-but most of all, he loved being there for the people he cared about. Whether offering a ride or showing up to support loved ones, he gave his time without hesitation.
He is survived by his wife Lisa O'Mary; children Danielle, Tony, and Ryan O'Mary; grandchildren Bobby, Collin, Elizabeth, Camden, and Bree; his mother Nola Barbara Claycomb O'Mary; and siblings Mike, Timmy, George, Bill, Sharon, Debbie, and Maureen. He was preceded in death by his father, George O'Mary.
A memorial visitation will be held from 10 AM till 1 PM on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Bosse Funeral Home, 1355 Ellison at Barret Avenues. A celebration of life will be held at Amvets Preston Post, 1567 S Shelby St, Louisville, KY 40217 immediately following the visitation at Bosse Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, show up for someone-just like Danny always did.
