Danny was a unique soul whose vibrant energy touched everyone he met. He dedicated his professional life to his passion for bringing joy to others through food, working as a caterer with The Painted Plate. His love for crafting delicious meals was surpassed only by his love for the great outdoors and the beauty of nature. Danny's green thumb was well-known, and he spent countless hours nurturing plants and creating lush, vibrant gardens that were a testament to his gentle spirit.

A true music enthusiast, Danny found happiness in dancing and attending festivals, where he could celebrate life surrounded by friends and joyful melodies. An ardent cat lover, Danny cherished his feline companions, who brought him endless comfort and companionship.

Danny is survived by his loving mother, Kathryn Gilbert, and her husband, Brian, of Big Springs, Nebraska; his devoted sister, Hanah Popp; his caring brother, Derek Popp; and his close friend, Jeff Clawson. His warmth, laughter, and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In keeping with Danny's lively spirit, a celebration of life is being planned, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory and cherish the moments they shared with him.
