Daniel Jay Potter

Born: February 18, 1963 | Died: March 26, 2025

Daniel Jay Potter, age 62, of Elk Park, NC, formerly of Hammond, IN, passed away March 26, 2025. He is survived by his siblings, William Dennis Potter, Debra Potter, Cynthia (Brent) Govert, Jennifer (Mark) Lyon; his nieces and nephews, Julia (Mike) Albrecht, Michael (Mercedes) Potter, Gretchen (Scott) Burdan, and Crystal Komocsar. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Willaim and Joan Potter.

Dan lived in North Carolina for nearly 50 years and loved the mountains. He graduated from Hanover Central High School class of 1982. Dan worked at Baxter Labs in NC for over 20 years. He enjoyed woodworking, painting, and watching westerns on TV. He was always full of laughter and loved his family and friends.

Special thanks to Aunt Ruth Ann Hansen for taking care of Dan during his illness. She went over and above for him. Dan will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
