Daniel Wayne Pruitt

A Celebration of Life for Daniel Pruitt, 45, of Longview, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at The Remnant Church, located at 4344 U.S. Highway 259, Longview, Texas 75605, with Boyd Connally officiating. For those wishing to send flowers, floral arrangements may be delivered to the church by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 16, 2026.

Mr. Pruitt passed away on December 24, 2025, in Longview.

Daniel Wayne Pruitt was born on January 3, 1980, in Irving, Texas, to Thomas David Pruitt and Deborah Ann (Bell) Trickey. A master technician at Automotive Super Center, Daniel was also a gifted artist who enjoyed creating puppets, building models and Gundams, constructing remote control cars, 3D printing, and crafting speaker boxes. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Pruitt; and by his grandparents, Tom and Grace Bell, Clarence and Marie Pruitt, and Effie Bell Pruitt.

Survivors include his mother, Debbie Trickey and husband Mike of Longview; his children, Caitlyn McKenzie Munnerlyn and husband Christian and Brayden Wayne Pruitt of Longview; his siblings, Thomas David Pruitt, Jr. and wife Sarah, Emily Jisha, Tammy Pruitt, and Melissa Pruitt; his grandchildren, Rylin, Brynlee, and Amelia Munnerlyn; his nieces and nephews, Julian, Audrey, and Avery Jisha, Elizabeth, Madison, and Paul Pruitt; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home family.
