The world lost an amazing man. Daniel Lance Putnam passed away peacefully in his home on March 13, 2024. He was a man who was unafraid to live life to the fullest.

Many depended on his strength and sense of humor to lighten any situation. Good or bad, he always had a way of making things better with a joke to say and something witty to follow.

Daniel always welcomed anyone into his home with plenty of food and drinks. He made sure everyone felt cared for. You always left with a smile on your face, warmth in your heart, and a new joke or story to tell. He could make friends with anyone and once you were friends it would be for life.

He loved the outdoors, taking friends and family out camping and fishing, even if it entailed jumping over fences to find the best spot.

A hard working man with many talents, Daniel stepped easily into trade work, eventually creating his own company to provide for his family.

Daniel Lance Putnam is survived by family and too many loved ones to list. We will miss your stubbornness and lighthearted nature. We will think of you often. We know you are now on another adventure with more jokes and rules to break.

Go with all our love, until we meet again.

Daniel’s viewing will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah.

There will be a celebration of life at a later time.
