Daniel Richmond Obituary
Daniel loved his family and made wonderful memories on camping trips, vacations, and plenty of mischief with his siblings and cousins (Joe and Noah). Growing up, Daniel frequently showcased his violin talents much to the delight of others. In high school, Daniel wrestled, played football and spent time making lasting friendships. One of Daniel's proudest accomplishments was becoming an Eagle Scout. Music was a big part of Daniel's life and he enjoyed going to concerts and singing karaoke. Daniel loved children and animals; he left behind his dear Goddaughter Saylor and his beloved dog Benny (who is now in the loving care of a close friend).
Daniel is survived by his parents Alex and Robin, his sisters Heidi and Natalia and stepsiblings, Mandy, Reese and Hannah. He also leaves his stepfather, Eric, along with grandparents and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. His family is heartbroken but cognizant of how blessed they were to have known him. They hope his death can help prevent others like it.
Daniel had a heart of gold. He made everyone around him laugh with his quick wit and inimitable charm. He was brilliant and kind and made the world a better place by simply being in it.
Services will be held at Valley Unitarian Universalist Church, 6400 W Del Rio St, Chandler, AZ 85226, at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday January 26, 2019.

To all of Daniel's family, I am so so sorry to read of his death. I cannot imagine your pain. I didn't get to see/meet him/ you at our O'Mahony reunion but the reunion photo is above my piano and I see that picture daily. Special prayers and cousin love sent to all of you.

We remember him "running fast!!" at 4 in his decorated underwear, dashing into Heidi's room, performing some guerrilla action then scurrying to safety to plan his next action. Go Daniel! Sweet memory of a sweet boy. The world is a worse place without him, especially at a time when we need all the wonderful Daniels to help us all be loving people.
