Daniel S. Rodriguez, affectionately known as "Dan the Man" to those who knew and adored him, passed away peacefully due to natural causes on September 23, 2025, in Odessa, TX. Born on October 11, 1961, in San Antonio, TX, Daniel's life was a vibrant journey filled with music, laughter, and an abundance of friends.

Daniel's early years in San Antonio were the foundation of a life lived with gusto and joy. He completed twelve years of education, which shaped his strong work ethic, leading to a fulfilling career in labor and retail. Daniel's dedication to his work was only rivaled by his commitment to his family, where he was adored, and always ready to lend a helping hand. Daniel kept his faith close, being Catholic was dear to his heart.

Known for his friendly demeanor, generous spirit, and kind heart, Daniel never met a stranger. His infectious smile and warm presence made him a beloved figure in both his personal and professional circles. Daniel's love for Tejano, country, and all other types of Mexican music was profound, and he was often found dancing the night away, bringing joy to those around him. His love for the nightlife and partying with friends was legendary, and his absence will leave a void in the many lives he touched.

Daniel's family was his pride and joy. He is preceded in death by his mother, Carmen Bermudez, his father, Miguel Rodriguez Sr., and his brother, Sammy Rodriguez. His legacy will live on through his beloved spouse, Lupe Baiza, and his cherished children, Daniel Rodriguez (Jan), Regina Renee Rodriguez, Roland Rodriguez, Robert Daniel Rodriguez, Regina Rodriguez, and Richard Rodriguez. Daniel also leaves behind a legacy of love with his siblings, Miguel Rodriguez Jr. (Vera), Cynthia Carrasco (Manuel), Theresa Jimenez, and Albert Rodriguez. His nieces and nephews Melissa, Jessica, Jesse, Vanessa, Christopher, Artie, Veronica, Kiko, and JP; as well as his thirteen grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren, who will forever remember his laughter and love.

While we mourn the loss of such a beautiful soul, we also celebrate the remarkable life that Daniel S. Rodriguez lived. He was a man who embraced life's pleasures with open arms and who made the world a brighter place for all who had the fortune of crossing his path. As we say farewell to Dan the Man, we take solace in knowing that his spirit will continue to dance among us, inspiring us to live life to the fullest, just as he did.
