Fairy Tiller

Fairy Belle Tiller, known lovingly as Granny, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025, at the age of 86 in Odessa, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Hugo, Oklahoma on June 1, 1939, Fairy's life was a tapestry of rich experiences and deep relationships, woven with threads of love, wisdom, and selflessness.
For over 40 years, Fairy's skilled hands worked as a seamstress, a craft she mastered and took great pride in. Her work was not just a job but a testament to her meticulous nature and her ability to weave love into every stitch. Fairy's interests painted a picture of a woman who cherished the simple pleasures in life. Her love for carpentry demonstrated her belief that with the right tools and a bit of elbow grease, anything could be mended or made anew. She found solace in the pages of mystery novels, the escapades of heroes in western films, and the loyal companionship of her dog, Brownie.
She was a devoted mother to her beloved children, Ramona Harris, the late Roy Reeves, and Robert Cobb. Her love multiplied as she became the cherished grandmother to Cindy Rengers and her spouse John, Trey Shadwick and his spouse Sara, Misty Shadwick, Samantha Reeves, Daniel Reeves, Jonathan Dawkins and his spouse Alexis, Justin Reeves, Ryan Reeves, and Cassandra Reeves and her spouse Reinaldo. Her joy was further amplified by the laughter and wonder of her 19 great-grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews. Granny was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and seven brothers, leaving behind her dear sister Margaret.
We bid farewell to Fairy Belle Tiller, not with sorrow, but with a standing ovation for a performance that left us all in awe and with smiles in our hearts. Her curtain call comes with a reminder: life is a tapestry of moments stitched with love, and Fairy was the best darn seamstress we ever had the pleasure of knowing. So, here's to you, Fairy – forever in our memories, always in our hearts, and still bossing us around with that twinkle in your eye from up above.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025, 4 pm- 8 pm at Acres West Funeral Chapel. Funeral Service will be held at 1 pm, Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Acres West Funeral Chapel.
