Daniel Joseph Roy, 65, passed away peacefully at home on October 14, 2025, after a courageous battle with ALS.

Born on March 13, 1960, he was the son of the late Joseph and Simone (Gueroux) Roy.
Dan proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1978 to 1987, with tours of duty in Germany and Japan. He attained the rank of Technical Sergeant and received several commendations for his service and dedication.

Following his military career, Dan applied his technical skills in the telecommunications industry, working for several years as a Telecom Engineer with Charter Communications. He later joined DeliverHealth / Nuance Communications, retiring in May 2025.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years, Christine Roy of Cumberland; his brother, Dominic Roy of Springfield, MA; and many extended family members and friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Steven Roy, in 1988.

Dan was known for his integrity, work ethic, and generosity. As one colleague noted, "he left no stone unturned." Loyal to both his career and those he loved, Dan left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

A man of many interests, Dan enjoyed traveling, antiquing, and restoring his 1970 Chevy Impala. He was also a passionate collector of clocks and watches. His intelligence, sense of humor, and warm smile will be remembered and deeply missed.

In accordance with his wishes, funeral services and burial will be private.
