Daniel Joe Stevens, Jr., 60, of Frankfort, passed away at his son's home Saturday, July 12, 2025. He was born on August 15, 1964, to Daniel and Kay Stevens.
Daniel could most often be found on his property, enjoying the wilderness and wildlife. He was an avid outdoorsman, known for his passion of fishing and guns. He will remembered for his love of life and for the laughs and devotion he gave his family. Daniel will be greatly missed by those who knew and cared for him.
He is survived by his children, Allyson (Barton) Hare of Lafayette, Matthew (Jessica) Stevens of Kentland, Elizabeth (Cody) Miller of Frankfort, Rebecca Hoffman of Kentland; grandchildren, Bryanna Stevens, Caleb Smith, Lillyanna Lewis, Jordyn Garcia, Jaedyn Garcia, Jaxson Garcia, Markus Garcia, Maison Garcia, Myles Garcia, Mary Mae Bartczak, D.J. Bartczak, and Abel Hoffman; sister, Cynthia (Robert) Jones of Michigantown; brother-in-law, Earl Arnold; as well as 3 nieces and 6 nephews.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents; son, C.J. Stevens; and siblings, Tamala Stevens, Patricia Arnold, and Julia Stevens.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 2:00 PM on Daniel's property in Frankfort.
