Daniel Lester Stokes

STOKES, Daniel Lester, "Dan", age 64, resided in Estancia, New Mexico passed away on Monday, June 5th, 2023. Dan passed away in Albuquerque, NM surrounded by his wife and kids. He was known for his sense of humor, outgoing and friendly personality, and his deep love for family. Dan was born August 15, 1958 in Ogden, UT to Lloyd and Beth Stokes. Dan met his loving wife Darla in 1986 and they were married the following year, 1987 in Rigby, Idaho. Dan was a hard worker who enjoyed racing horses, watching football, making friends with strangers, or spending time with his family. Dan is preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Beth Stokes, and his sister Debbie Shupe. Dan is survived in life by his wife Darla, his children Boyd (Maria), Savannah (Matthew), Jennifer (Spencer), Leslie (Karl), Natalie (Jordan), and seventeen grandchildren. The funeral will be a graveside service with family and friends present on June 9th, 2023.
