Daniel "Danny" Stough, II, beloved husband, father, son and brother passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 26, 2024. He will be missed very much by his family and a multitude of friends who were like family.
Danny never met a stranger. He always treated you as if he knew you for a long time. He changed lives every day without even knowing it.
Danny was born January 8, 1968 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He attended school at Grawood, Southwood High School, and LSUS. Danny was a huge fan of LSU and the Saints, there wasn't a Saturday or Sunday during football season he wasn't watching the games! He met the love of his life, Karen, in early 2021 introduced by a mutual friend and later on, that same friend married them on December 18, 2021. He had a wonderful group of childhood friends that stayed close throughout the years, his beloved "brothers"; Brian Wilson, Tony Brantley, Phillip Gordon, Tony LaFisca, Nathan Thompson, Chuck Gilliam, Ronnie Pettis, Jeff Massey, Casey Dowling and Randy Lambert (gone but not forgotten), and many, many others!!! He was truly blessed with the most supportive and loving friends a person could ask for.
He is survived by his loving wife, Karen, who was always by his side; his father, Johnny Pappa; mother, Linda Pappa; sons, Daniel Stough III, Seth Stough and daughter Lily Kay Bergren, and his sister, Lori Burks.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Elks Lodge #122, 310 E. Preston Ave, Shreveport, LA 71105 from 2pm until 5pm. Please wear LSU Tigers or New Orlean Saints attire in honor of Danny's passion and favorite teams.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org or to the charity of the donors choice.

To say I´m shocked to read that Danny is gone would be an understatement. I bought a house in a new neighborhood in Arlington back in 1993. Danny´s house went up before mine and as more families moved in we all became close. Grilling and beer on the weekends and those amazing pistolletes he made were never forgotten after we moved away. Those were some really good memories. Rest in peace, Danny. Your friend, Robert.

Danny was an amazing co-worker and an even better friend. Danny is the type of guy to give you the last penny to his name if it helped you. He will be dearly missed by myself and I’m sure, many, many more.
