Dan is survived by his parents Fredric Nelson Strauss and Deanna Elizabeth Diaz Strauss; wife Maria Lopez Strauss of Monticello; son Charles Dustin Strauss and his wife Elizabeth of Tampa, FL; additional children Travis, Jasmine, Dominic; two grandsons Victor Strauss and Charles Strauss of Tampa; additional grandchildren Travion, Elijah, A.J., Amila, Jai, Sai, Alana, Cordell, Colton; brother Bill Strauss and his wife Melissa Strauss of Tallahassee; sister Lori Strauss of Clearwater Beach.
A memorial service was held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 17th at Antioch Baptist Church, 284 McCall Bridge Road, Quincy, Florida.
