FRANKFORT - Daniel J. Tripple, 47, of Frankfort, NY, passed away unexpectedly, in his home, on March 19, 2023.
He was born on February 22, 1976, at Herkimer Hospital, to Charles and Nadine (Sweet) Tripple. He attended and graduated from Mohawk Central School, in 1994.
Dan leaves behind his parents; his sister and brother-in-law, Amanda Tripple and David Lloyd; his beloved son, Vincent Tripple; long term girlfriend, Teira Davis and her daughter, Aurora Davis; life-long friends, Justin Marmet, Shawn McGraw, Heath "Heater," Freddy Overacker, Jeff Ape, Howard Coveny and Jennifer Wilkerson and her daughter, Hannah; and so many more friends than we can list; also, multiple aunts, uncles and cousins; his beloved cats, Oreo and Cookie; and his doxie dog, Wiggles (Olive).
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Dan was such a loving and devoted son, brother, father, partner and friend. Dan's son was his whole life and he would never change that. Dan loved and cherished all of his family and friends in his life. Known to many of his childhood friends as "Trip." Everyone who knew Dan loved him, he just had a personality that pulled you to him. Dan never met a cat or a dog that he didn't love. Dan was a lifelong sports fan of the Miami Dolphins, New York Yankees and Syracuse Orangemen.
There will be a Celebration of Life, on Friday, March 24, 2023, at the American Legion, in Mohawk, NY, from 2:00 p.m. to 6: p.m. Please come celebrate the life of a great man, who was loved and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
