Daniel Watkins, age 17 passed away on November 26, 2023 at his home. Daniel was born in Toms River and grew up in Edison before moving back to Forked River. He was a student at Lacey Township High School and Ocean County Vocational Technical School. Daniel had aspirations to follow in his father's footsteps and become a Diesel Mechanic. He was the drummer in the band Asinine Relevance and played many gigs. Daniel also enjoyed playing video games.
Daniel was predeceased by his father, Daniel in 2018 and his uncle, Willie Schaller. He is survived by his mother, Dorothie and his stepfather Daniel Bonfanti, his sisters: Brianna Bonfanti, Carolina Bonfanti, Alexa Watkins and Mattie Bonfanti, his grandparents: Kathie and Kenny Pitman, Bob and Susan Schaller and David and Pamela Orlando. Daniel is also survived by many loving family and friends.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 6-8pm at Riggs Funeral Home, 130 North Route 9, Forked River, NJ. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Mental Health charity of your choice in Daniel's memory.

during Halloween in middle school, same day I got suspended, Danny came in dressed as a Disney Princess. I'd always wished to be as brave and kind as he. Thank you Danny. You are a ray of sunshine, man.
