Age 48, of Bloomington, MN passed away at home on September 19th, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kari, and his parents, Dennis and Mary. Dan was born in Edina, MN, the second of two brothers. Dan and his wife were married 16 years, her having passed away in January. They loved spending time at their family cabin near Lutsen, MN taking in scenery and playing cards together (Skip-Bo being their favorite game). Dan worked at Iron Mountain in Bloomington for 16 years and loved his job as a driver and in customer service. His true passion was cars, both classic and new. He went to the auto show every year with his brother, nephew, and best friend and they regularly worked on cars at each other's houses. Dan also loved golfing, having played since he was 14 years old. Dan was an avid sports fan. He followed all Minnesota sports, but he loved the Minnesota Twins and always talked about their teams, both past and present. The Metrodome was one of his favorite places. Above all, Dan loved being around people. He was at his happiest just hanging out on a patio with his family and friends. His sense of humor was always on display, making people laugh with his observations and opinions. He will be dearly missed. Dan leaves behind his brother, Jeff (Chrissy); Nephews David and Jack; Niece, Kayla; Dear Friend Tony (Laura); and other family and friends. Dan will be laid to rest at Dawn Valley Memorial Park beside his loving wife on October 11th at 11am. A celebration of life gathering will take place on October 11th at 1230pm in Burnsville at the home of Jeff and Chrissy.
