Daniel Gregory Weisman, a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on February 7th, 2024 in Staten Island, NY. He was born on December 28th, 1946 in Irvington, New Jersey. Dan is survived by his daughters Dea, Dayna, Danielle, Michelle, Jessica, Melanie, Venus and Christina. His many children, grandchildren and great-grandchild will continue to cherish his memory. He is predeceased by his dear wife, Dea and son, Eric. A man of honor and service to his country as an Army Reserve member with an honorable discharge in 1971; Dan's dedication extended into the legal field, where he began as an Assistant District Attorney before becoming a Court Attorney for Staten Island Family Court for many years. His commitment to justice led him and his wife to become foster parents to countless children over the years. Those who knew Dan remember him not only for his professional achievements but also for his humor, incredible generosity, and his unparalleled fascination with weather forecasting. He touched endless lives through both laughter and kindness. Funeral services honoring Daniel's life will be held at Hanley Funeral Home in Staten Island on Thursday, February 15th, from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm.
