Daniel Wescoat Obituary
April 17, 1939 - July 10, 2024
Daniel Henry Wescoat, Jr., 85, of Hammonton passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, in the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland. Born in Hammonton he was a lifelong area resident. He was a retired security guard at Harrah's Resort, he also worked for Tri-County Security Agency at Seashore Gardens. He served in the United States Army from Jan. 1962 until Dec. 1963. Mr. Wescoat is survived by his two daughters, Diana Donofrio and her husband, Peter, Joyce Benavidez and her husband Hector; two sisters, Brenda Blazer and Cheryl Rundio; nine grandchildren, Jeffrey, Alyssa, Salvatore, Paul, Matthew, Kaylee, Peter, Frank and Gabrielle; and three great-grandchildren, Natalie, Winter, and Autumn.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024, 12 p.m. at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, NJ where a visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Burial will be Private. Memorial Donations may be made to the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home, 524 Northwest Blvd. Vineland, NJ 08360.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Danny and I go way back over 50 years. He was my Colonial Life agent and then my co-worker at Colonial Life. We had so much fun working together. We used to leave our Friday sales meeting in Vineland and go to Landisville to get lunch. I had not seen him since about 1986 when he came to see me in my office in Hammonton. He was a great guy and I would like to have kept in touch but sometimes that's how things go. We Pray that God will comfort his family and friends at this time of loss.
