Daniel “Big Dan” Walters Wittmann, age 78, of Long Beach, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
Dan was born on September 24, 1947, in Gulfport. He retired from Dow Chemical. Dan loved gardening, boating, camping, and riding his Harley Davidson.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Inez and Wendlin “Wendy” Wittmann and a brother, John “Jack” B. Wittmann.
Survivors include his sons, Dan Wittmann and Mike Wittmann; grandchildren, Ally Wittmann, Reese Wittmann, Kaleigh Wittmann, and Parker Wittmann; great-grandson, Chase Arnold; and brothers, Richard “Rick” Wittmann, Thomas “Tommy” Wittmann, and Jefferey “Jeff” Wittmann.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 1726 15th Street, Gulfport. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Live Oak Cemetery in Pass Christian. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the family of Daniel “Big Dan” Walters Wittmann.
