Gregory Scott Wittmann departed this earthly world on November 27, 2025 at the age of 71. Greg was born on May 19,1954 in St. Joseph, Michigan to Albert and Janis (Buckley) Wittmann.

Greg's family meant the world to him. A devoted husband, father, and "Papa", Greg is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda (Wozniak) Wittmann, their daughter Lacey and their son Paul, along with daughter in law, Ginger. He was much loved by and was very proud of their five grandchildren: Lydia, Lucas, Coy, Lylah, and Lincoln. He is also survived by his step-sister, Barbara "Cooky" Dyrcz. Greg was preceded in death by his dad, Albert Wittmann; mother, Janis Johnson, and by his three brothers, Garrett, Mark, and Daniel and step-brother, Joseph Dyrcz.

Greg retired after a long career with the State of Michigan, DTMB, as a Facilities Manager at the Secondary Complex in Dimondale. Throughout his life, Greg especially loved playing golf. He loved Lake Michigan, playing sports (including softball, bowling league, and darts league), watching sports (especially Spartan basketball), and he became a craft beer aficionado.
