Daniel Wolf Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home - Tidewater Drive Chapel on Mar. 11, 2026.
Daniel Wolf, 47, passed away on March 5, 2026 due to a pulmonary embolism. He leaves behind a family and community who loved him deeply and will miss him beyond words. Dan was a devoted father to his 14-year-old daughter, Emma Grace Wolf. His love for her was constant, steady, and unmistakable.

He was a beloved son and brother, survived by his parents, George and Kaye Wolf, and his two sisters, Rebecca Odor (Jay) and Elizabeth Whitewolf (David). He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews, Russell, Emilie, Lulu, and Madeleine. He will be dearly missed by his girlfriend, Anna DeFelice.

Those who knew Dan often marveled at his remarkable mind and hands-on ingenuity. If something was broken, Dan could fix it. Cars, washing machines, toaster ovens-nothing seemed beyond his ability to figure out. He approached problems with patience, curiosity, and determination, and he took quiet pride in helping others by making things work. He was a loyal friend to many and was always willing to lend a hand.

His sudden passing leaves a profound emptiness in the lives of those who knew and loved him. Yet the memories of his kindness, his clever problem-solving, and above all his love for his daughter and family will remain.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 14th at 1pm at the Chapel at the Virginia Beach United Methodist Church at 19th and Pacific Ave. Friends and family are invited to share memories and stories during the service.
