COL (US Army, Retired) Daniel (Dan) Womack, Jr., of Fort Washington, MD passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024, in Bethesda, MD. A devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother, Dan is survived by his wife (Betty), his three children, daughters Judy C. Rogers (Charles, Jr., deceased) and Jennifer D. Ellerbe (Carlos) and son Daryl T. Womack (Daphane) as well as five siblings, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of extended family and friends who will always remember his laughter and kindness.
Friends and family are invited to Dan's celebration of life on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at the KALAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 6160 Oxon Hill Road, Oxon Hill MD 20745. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Celebration of Life service will begin at 12 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
