Daniel P. Ziemke passed away April 6, 2024 at his home.
Daniel was born December 3, 1979 in Plymouth, WI, to Harold and Jean Ziemke. He was raised in the Town of Greenbush. He attended Plymouth Schools, graduating from Plymouth High School in 1997.
He learned carpentry from his dad and started his own business, Daniel Ziemke Carpentry. He was a craftsman and excelled at his craft.
He was an avid fisherman from a young age and was happiest when he was out in his boat searching for the "big one".
He was an artist whose palette was the lens of a camera. More often than not he managed to be in the right place at the right time to capture amazing photos of wildlife and the beauty of the natural world. He was happy to share his photos with his friends on Facebook.
He was well traveled and enjoyed seeing different parts of the country with his friends.
He is survived by his parents, Harold and Jean Ziemke of Greenbush, a brother, Aaron of Waterloo, WI, aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends, and his five cats. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Adolph and Millie Behling and Beach and Helen Holman.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on the evening of April 17th at the Suchon Funeral Home from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM and again on April 18th from 1:30 PM – 2:00 PM with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 PM at Suchon Funeral Home. Burial will be at Greenbush Cemetery.

I had the greatest memories with Dan these past years... my favorite was going to Holy Hill Chapel in his car & going on hiking trails...but there are many more...the best inspirational mentor in so many ways. Im so proud of his amazing accomplishments & drive was beyond extraordinary. His photos were astonishing; they captured the heart. So much good in one´s soul... so much life yet to live...my deepest condolences to his family & all who knew him. Go spread your wings & fly my dearest friend.

I met Dan when I was a teenager when I dated Brian Prening & hung out with his bro Aaron a bit. Dan & I become really close these past years when he worked on my home. He was my fitness instructor, health mentor, carpenter teacher, jammed out to tunes in his car to Holy Hill Chapel & went on many trails, made me an amazing salmon supper, we ran together, saw a few bands, and painted the old owner of Miesfelds deck...was suppose to repaint it with him...not sure if he ever did complete it, always tried to make me smile & laugh... and did well trying. Dan had an amazing spirit, preserverance discipline, determination, knowledge, motivation, & took the most elegant photos of nature & life... He brought HIS light in my heart. I cherish every moment we had spent together & I ll wait patiently to see him on the other side. He was the best friend I never had... You are loved Dan beyond words...God saw it was time... you did so much for others... time to be at rest... too young... too soon. Peace and prayers to him, family, & friends. Soar like an .
