Daniele Diane Saccone passed away on October 11, 2024 in Detroit, Michigan after a sudden illness. She was born in Detroit on August 14, 1963 to Claudine McGlothin and Douglas Hafke.
Raised in Michigan and Rocky River, Ohio, she was as tough as steel, had the rhythm of Motown, love of discovery, exploration and positive action. She lavished endless love, kindness, devotion towards friends and family.
She was a real American girl, cherished her European heritage, while passionate about embracing all global cultures, savoring their wines and food.
Daniele's sense of adventure led her to California in the mid-80's where she attended San Diego State University receiving a degree in International Business. She roller-skated down the boardwalk, cycled through the hills, became addicted to sushi and fish tacos, always dreaming big as the sun set over the Pacific Ocean
She returned to Michigan in 1991 where she started a career in the financial field. In 1992, she met her husband and best buddy of over 30 years, Paul. Settling in Rochester Hills, Daniele and Paul raised three amazing children, Celine, Alanna, and Andre who were blessed with their Mom's incredible beauty, intelligence, strength and creativity. Cooking together, trips to beaches and parks, enriching international excursions, movie nights, fun conversation, creating art, loving animals and nature, bonded the family. Through the struggles and difficult times Mom demanded countless hugs and said "never give up" topped-off with an assurance of her magical smile and contagious laughter.
Daniele was blessed with a beautiful and loving Grandson, Alexander, who expected hours of playing, jumping, and chasing. Grammy Daniele happily and exuberantly kept up.
Daniele's astonishing spirit and energy are now shared between Heaven and Earth. Her everlasting love will be forever evident amongst and within every brilliant star, soaring bird, sparkling lake, endless ocean, vibrant flower, delicate butterfly and warm embracing breeze.
We love you and miss you more than can possibly be expressed.
A private visitation on Friday and private burial on Saturday will take place.
