Danielle Butler Obituary

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California and Chicago, IL Danielle became an accomplished freelance journalist, make up artist, stylist and chef. She had many creative talents. As a journalist, Danielle has had the opportunity to interview music producer Jimmy Jam, was featured in Essence magazine and wrote many other notable pieces. She had so much to offer to the world and was able to do that in the eloquent words she wrote.
Danielle is preceded in death by her father Michael Butler. She is survived by her son, Mekhi Butler, mother, Krystal LaMar, sisters, Jade LaMar and Junisha Anderson, brother, Marcus Butler, niece, Amaya Hursey, her best friend Alicia Spradley and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and family friends who loved her dearly.
A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held Friday, November 15th, 2024 from 4:00-7:00pm at Lakeview Funeral Home, 1458 West Belmont Avenue, Chicago.
