Obituary of Danielle Lynn (Dake) DeCleene
Danielle Lynn (Dake) DeCleene, age 39, of Land O Lakes, Florida passed away in the early morning hours of July 5th at home surrounded by her family after a newarly7 year battle with cancer.
Danielle is survived by her loving parents, David and Kaye Dake, and her brothers, Dusty Dake and David Dake (II). She was preceded in death by her Grandparents and her uncle.
Danielle grew up in Appleton, WI. where she lived until she relocated to Land O Lakes in 2014 with her husband. Danielle displayed a variety of talents throughout her working career and made a change from managing a beauty supply store to working as a machine mechanic.
Danielle loved her Siamese cats and enjoyed costume and theme parties. Her magnetic personality often led to large groups of friends dressing alike and going out to enjoy life.
Danielle loved giving back to the community and showed it through the countless hours she spent with her mom sewing pillows for cancer patients and clipping coupons for supplies to donate to local animal shelters.
Danielle's outgoing personality and inquisitive nature led to a Patient/Researcher forum being started at Moffitt. This program allows patients to share their stories with those doing the research on their disease, making a human connection to the lab work.
Danielle will be remembered by family, friends, and the countless lives she touched through the Moffit patient/researcher forum.
