Williamson, Joseph Arthur, Jr. (Joey), 69, passed away in Lutz, Fl on August 6, 2025 after a short battle with esophageal cancer. He had lived in Floral City, Fl the last 5 years. Joey was born in Tampa Fl and grew up in Clearwater, Fl. Joey followed in his father's footsteps and became a plumber until he retired with his disabled back. Joey married "the love of his life" Rebecca Lou Huff 43 years and nine months ago on a pontoon boat in Lake Tarpon, Florida. Rebecca Lou Huff becomes Becky Williamson, and she knows she has met and married the love of her life. Their lives consisted of riding their Harley Davidson motorcycle, racing boats, renovating boats and repairing motors and enjoying each other as they were inseparable. Family holidays and fishing trips were very important to Joey.Joey was the son of Joseph Arthur Williamson, Sr. and Mary Ann Locke (both of Tampa, Clearwater and then Odessa, Florida.Joseph (Joey) is survived by:Wife - Becky Williamson (Huff)Sister: Rocanne Wills, husband - Scott, nephew - Corey and wife Renee, great nephew - Cameron and great niece - LilaSister: Tina Brannen, nephew Austin and niece KatarinaSister-in-law Regina, Huff and NickCousins - Cherise Blair John Valdes, John Reece and wife Kim, Marilyn King, and numerous other relativesPuppy - Winnie JennieJoey is now reunited with his mom (he was a Mamma's boy), Dad and his closest cousin Desmond and he is fishing, fishing, catching and catching.The visitation and celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025 beginning at 10 AM at Loyless Funeral Home at 5310 Land O' Lakes Boulevard. Funeral service begins at 11 AM and then the graveside will follow at Williams cemetery in Dade City, Florida.Fellowship and snacks are to follow at Rocanne and Scott's home in Land O' Lakes.
