Hastings Funeral Home & Omega CrematoryDanielle Dee Joseph, 56, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025. She was born January 27, 1969, in Morgantown, WV, a daughter to the late John and Alberta Mae White. She was a dedicated Certified Nurse Assistant whose compassion and commitment to caring for others defined her life. Danielle's nurturing spirit made her a “safe haven” for those around her, and her generosity and giving nature extended well beyond her profession.
Danielle is survived by her daughter, Courtney Nicole White; son, Harley D. White; granddaughter, Ivory Rayne DeBiase; niece, Ashley Scott and her husband Teon Scott, and Ashley’s children, Kyree Pryce and Loveayah Kennedy; nephews, B.J. Kennedy and Seth Kennedy (Tiffany); sisters, Lisa Laura (White) Kennedy (Frankie Thomas), Stephanie Olexa (Steve), Kimberly Duchess, and Nicole Davis; brothers, Jason Jay White (Elizabeth Marie White) and Albert Olexa (Diane), sister-in-law, Chris White and brother-in-law, Bruce W. Kennedy, Sr.
In addition to her parents, Danielle was preceded in death by her siblings, Shawn "Jody" White, John Allen White, Jeffrey White, and Jeananne White. She was also preceded in death by her bonus mother, Sharon Kennedy, her ex-husband, Kenny-Joe Joseph, and her nephew, Josh White.
Danielle’s life was devoted to nurturing others, marked by unwavering love and compassion. Her love for her dogs also reflected her caring and affectionate nature, further endearing her to everyone she met. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy be made through donations to assist them in the days ahead.
Hastings Funeral Home has been entrusted with cremation arrangements.
Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Saturday, August 23rd from 4:00pm until 6:00pm.
