Danielle Marie Raleigh

It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Danielle Marie Raleigh, age 52, on September 5th, 2024 after a long, hard-fought battle with heart disease. She was born March 9th, 1972 in Louisville, Kentucky. She graduated from Princess Anne High School in Virginia Beach, VA and later obtained her associate's degree from Saint Leo's University. Danielle was a dedicated employee of Hampton Roads Sanitation District for the last 18 years. Danielle was a warm, compassionate, kind, and positive person. She enjoyed the beach, listening to music, but most importantly, she loved spending time with her friends and family.
She is survived by her husband Christopher Raleigh, whom she married October 1st, 2005, in Brandon, Vermont. She is also survived by her mother, Carol Boatright, her daughter, Savanna Raleigh, and step-son Nicholas Raleigh and his wife, Dani Raleigh.
A celebration of life will take place at 11:00AM on September 25th at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, located at 3445 Princess Anne Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23456.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association in her honor.
