Danielle Smoll

GREENFIELD – Danielle (Heck) Smoll, age 49, of Greenfield, passed away Monday, May 29, 2023. She was born in Franklin, Indiana on November 9, 1973 to Joyce Ann (Dusing) Heck and Larry Gene Heck. She graduated from Southport High School in 1992 and received her associate degree from IU in 1995. On July 22, 2000, Danielle married Trent Smoll in Greenfield.
She worked in the dentistry field for over 25 years. Most recently, Danielle was the office manager at Village Dentistry. She was a member of the Hancock County FOP #140. In her free time, Danielle liked traveling and going to concerts. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her children.
Danielle is survived by her loving family including her husband, Trent; sons, Luke Smoll of Jacksonville, FL and Levi Smoll of Greenfield; father, Larry Gene Heck of Greenwood; mother, Joyce Ann (Dusing) Heck of Franklin; brother, Jason Heck of Franklin; nephews, Nathan and Ian Copeland of Greenfield; mother-in-law, Judy Smoll of Greenfield; and sister-in-law, Joy (Kip) Adams of Morristown. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Braeden David Smoll; and father-in-law, David Wendell Smoll.
Visitation and funeral service will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023 at Brandywine Community Church, 1551 E New Rd, Greenfield, IN 46140. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Paul Galbraith officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield. Arrangements are being handled by Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory in Greenfield.
