Danielle Nicole Strachan

Danielle "Bell" Strachan, 22, of Chesapeake, VA passed away peacefully on November 04, 2023, from complications of Acute Myeloid Leukemia, surrounded by her family and loved ones. She fought long and hard for the last 6 years from the age of 16.
Danielle grew up in Chesapeake, a graduate of Deep Creek High School, and was studying to become a Radiological Technician while working at Sinclair Communications as a Promotions Assistant she enjoyed life to the fullest. She enjoyed her Cat Binx, and her love of Elephants. Danielle will be dearly missed. Her smile and her laugh were infectious and her spirits were always bright. She loved everyone and was always so thankful for anyone and everyone that wanted to step forward and help her in any way they could. No one was a stranger to Danielle. We find peace in knowing she is no longer in pain.
Danielle was predeceased by her sister Kristina.
She is survived by Her Parents Tom and Rhonda Strachan, Her Brother Michael Strachan & Morgan (Mentzer) Strachan, Sister Alyssa Strachan, Grandparents Mike and Ricki Strachan, Linda Higgins, Claudia Oatess, Aunts and Uncles Tammy (Strachan) & John Norton, Michelle (Strachan) & Chad Brewer, Lisa (Swink) & Todd Walter, Kathy (Zelinsky) & Artie Oatess, Cousins Tyler Walter, Caitlin Walter, Nicholas Norton, Rebecca Norton, Andrew Norton, Gavin Brewer, Clair Brewer & Maggie Brewer, and Sarah Oatess.
Danielle requested a celebration of life be held in her honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Danielle's friends and loved ones to join us in celebrating her beautiful life on Friday November 10, 230 pm at First Baptist Church of Suffolk 237 N. Main St, Suffolk VA 23434. A reception of remembrance will follow the service.
