Constance Turner Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home - Great Bridge Chapel on Jan. 12, 2026.
Constance "Connie" Turner, 88, passed away in Chesapeake, Virginia on January 9, 2026. She joins her husband of 46 years, Horace, her precious mother, Virginia Dare, and all six of her beloved siblings in heaven. Oh, what a family reunion they're having!
Connie was born in Waynesboro, Virginia. More importantly, she was born again into God's family on July 7, 1957. That's when her real life began.
Connie was not a lover of material possessions, nor did she have even the slightest desire to leave home and see the world. The focus of her life was first on God and then on people. Her family was everything to her. She never traveled just to see new places, but her love for family got her behind the wheel of a car or on an airplane to South Carolina, San Francisco, Rhode Island, Washington D.C. and Wisconsin over and over again. She never allowed distance to separate her from Angela, Joshua and Noel. She adored them.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Angela (husband Mike), grandchildren Joshua (wife Katie) and Noel, and great-grandson Jack, as well as many well-loved family members and faithful friends.
The family asks that you join them in celebration of her life at Hollomon-Brown funeral home, Great Bridge Chapel, on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 1 p.m. Condolences to the family may be offered at www.hollomon-brown.com
