Danita Rashawn Bailey was born October 9, 1985 to William and Lori Bailey in St. Joseph, MI. Danita and Rondal Sr. were married and share two children Rondal Jr. and Alesiah Franklin.
Danita completed her Bachelors of Science at Western Michigan University in 2012. After acquiring her degree she spent time working with special needs kids and the elderly.
In 2020 she began her flourishing business Blue Flame where she thrived in management, promoting upcoming artists, dabbled in acting, and cultivated her makeup skills.
Danita spent most of her time being an ambassador for her family and ensuring that many people felt cared for. She also was an avid book reader and supported that habit with being a beta reader for upcoming authors.
Danita leaves to cherish her memories by her parents William and Lori Bailey, sisters Nakia (Jason Sr.) Brooks, Amy Franko and Tiffany Brown. Her brothers Richard (Catina) Bailey, Derrick Bailey, and Kevin Bailey. Her aunts Emma Bell Kelley and Louise McCoy Dorothy (Ed Rose) Potts, Lavonne (Tyron) Taylor, Amy Smith, Cora (Bob) Morris, Darlene Bailey and uncle Edward Turner amongst a host of other aunts and uncles. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her great grandparents James and Dicie Turner, her grandmother Johnnie Mae Turner, and various uncles and aunts.

Our deepest condolences to the Bailey & Franklin families. Some people leave a mark of kindness & love wherever they go. Danita was definitely one of those people & her devotion to her family, & all kids, was evident in everything she did. We were better for having known her. RIH beautiful soul.
