In Loving Memory of Dannie Deddie Smith aka "Scoota"
12/15/1986– 11/23/2024
Dannie Smith was born December 15, 1986, in Pinehurst, North Carolina to the late Barbara and James Smith. He left us far too soon, at the age of 37 but his memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
He was known for his huge heart of gold, unwavering kindness, infectious laugh, and boundless generosity. He loved his kids and his sisters and brothers deeply. His passion for sports, especially basketball, and spending time with family was inspiring to all.
Dannie was more than a brother; he was a confidant, a friend, and a source of endless support. Whether he offered a listening ear, made you laugh when it mattered most or lent a helping hand, his presence was a gift we treasured deeply.
He was preceded in death by his brother Tyrone Marshall "Yogi".
He leaves to cherish his memories his sons Dannie Smith "DJ" of Greenville, North Carolina, Ayden and Zayden Smith of Asheboro, North Carolina, his daughter Serenity of Asheboro, North Carolina, his sisters Frances Smith (Chad) of Sophia, North Carolina, Sharitta Harrington of Charlotte, North Carolina, brother Carlos Smith (Audra) of Columbia, South Carolina, the love of his life Ronashia Patterson of McLeansville, North Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews, family and countless friends who loved him dearly.
