Danny Wayne Bell of Normandy passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at his home at the age of 69. Mr. Bell was born in Coffee County to the late Charles Bell, and Helen Branch Bell who survives. During his life, Danny worked as a dairy clerk for Kroger, and was a member of Victory Baptist Church. In addition to his father, Mr. Bell was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Martha Louise Bell; and sister, Brenda Bell. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his four children, Michelle Hawkersmith (Chris), Tommy R. York, Jr. (Lori), Aaron Bell (Robin), and Bryan Bell (Laura); and seven grandchildren, Matt, Alisabeth, Allison, Alyssa, Richard, Alissa, and Chloe. Visitation for Mr. Bell will be held on Friday, September 22nd from 11:00am to 2:00pm at Kilgore Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow in the Kilgore Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens with Bucky Buchanan, Doug Smith, David Laws, Jeremy Rhea, Jason Rhea, Clint Bailey, Codey Bailey, Thomas Lemmons, and Brian Metzger serving as pallbearers. For those who wish, the family asks that donations in Danny's memory be made to the American Diabetes Association – P.O. Box 7023 Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
