Danny Lynn Bellow, 61, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, in
Beaumont, Texas. Danny was born on June 15, 1961, to his mother, Myrtle Jean Berry Bellow, and father, A.D. Bellow, Jr., in
Port Arthur, Texas.
Danny grew up in
Port Arthur, Texas and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1979. For over thirty years, Danny worked at Nederland Independent School District (NISD) as a HVAC Technician and Warehouse Manager. Prior to his time at NISD, Danny worked as a Mechanical Contractor for Natkin, was a part of Bob Smith's Air Conditioning Systems, and joined the United Steelworkers Union. During his time at NISD, Danny encountered many colleagues and friends whom he enjoyed seeing every day. In 2016, Danny (being Danny) took on a second job at SAIA to be their Dock Manager, and he took tons of pride in his new role while making more friends and colleagues along the way.
On August 17, 1982, Danny married his high school sweetheart, Lisa Montalvo. They enjoyed over forty years of marriage by living every up and down to its fullest. God blessed Danny with a soulmate in Lisa, and they took advantage every day they had together. A blessing that very few get to experience for such a long period of time. They will always be together. Danny and Lisa enjoyed many activities and hobbies throughout their wonderful time together. Some of those included going to concerts, spending days at the beach, watching movies, being in bowling leagues, gardening, cooking, love for dogs and most importantly, creating memories with his beautiful family. Together, they would have 2 sons and a growing amount of grandchildren: currently have 4 with 1 on the way. Danny was a devoted father and grandfather who tirelessly provided for his family. Danny was known for his work ethic and strong core values which he made sure to instill in his two sons. Little did he know, both of his sons would view him as a role model forever.
Danny was an avid lover of animals especially dogs and birds. He began woodworking in the last year or so and made several ornaments for his family and friends. Danny also enjoyed learning about history where he would find himself lost in a rabbit hole from time to time. Plus, Danny really enjoyed watching and playing sports, and his two favorite sports were baseball and golf. Most importantly, Danny's favorite hobby was fishing throughout the water holes of SETX. Danny traveled across the country to attend Kirby's baseball games and spent countless hours talking sports and life with him. Danny also loved fishing and sharing gardening secrets with his oldest son, Blake. Bobby, Danny's oldest brother, was known as his fishing "mentor." Those two knew every fishing spot that touched the Gulf. Tommy, Danny's middle brother, shared many golfing and surfing trips. They have some unforgettable stories together. Danny really enjoyed his hunting trips especially with his nephew, Justin. Danny was looking forward to buying a new boat and creating more memories with his grandchildren who he loved very much.
