Mr. Danny Paul Benton, Sr., 69, of Hawkinsville, Ga., passed away Sunday, September 25 at Harbor Grace Hospice in Atlanta, Ga. A visitation will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, October 9, 2022 in the Clark Funeral Home Chapel. A private memorial service will be held at a later date for family only.
Mr. Benton was a native of Pulaski County, Ga. and a member of Hawkinsville First Baptist Church. He was a retired electrician. Danny loved hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle. He was preceded in death by his parents, J. W. and Evelyn James Benton; spouses, Rebecca Jean Parker Benton and Michelle Malone Benton.
Survivors include his sons, Dan (Rashelle) Benton, Eric Benton; brother, James Benton; sister, Brenda Crosby; 3 grandchildren, Danielle Benton, Sheldan Benton and Dannin Benton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to Hawkinsville First Baptist Church: 155 Broad Street, Hawkinsville, Ga. 31036 or Oaks Community Church, Highway 112, Pineview, Ga. 31071.
