Danny Joe Borah Sr, 55, of Sherman, passed away on October 31st, 2025 in Sherman Texas. Visitation will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday November 15th, 2025 at
Dannel Funeral Home in Sherman Texas.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 15th, 2025 at 11:00 Am at Dannel Funeral Home in Sherman Texas with Charles Niblet of Greater Harvest North, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements are by Dannel Funeral Home in Sherman, Texas.
Danny was born in Dallas Texas on January 23rd, 1970 and early in life he was adopted by Jimmy and Mae Borah. He went to school at Denison High School. He married Sonja Humphrey on December 17th,1994 in Denison Texas. He attended Grayson County Community College for a short period of time. He worked for Albertsons for 10 years and then later worked for Walmart.
In Danny's free time, he enjoyed hunting with his best friend Don Hunger, golfing, and barbequing. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and kids. Danny enjoyed helping those around him.
Danny is preceded in death by his father Jimmy Jack Borah, Mother Willa Mae Borah, Sister Carol Sue Reinhard, and Father in Law Dean Humphrey and best friend Don Hunger of Sherman Texas.
Danny is survived by wife Sonja Borah of Sherman Texas, son Danny Joe and wife Tara Borah of Shamrock Texas and son Colten Borah of Sherman Texas. Brother Donny and wife Shelly Borah of
Pottsboro Texas, and brother Jimmy Glen and wife Lynda Borah of Denison Texas. Mother in law Elizabeth Humphrey of Sherman, Texas. One grandchild Sawyer Crites to Danny and Tara Borah. And many nieces and nephews
Memorials may be given to Greater Harvest North Church and Pastor Charles Niblet.
The family of Danny wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Danny's niece Becca Reinhard, the nurses and staff from Concord home hospice and Carrus hospital. The family would also like to thank all family and friends who have prayed for Danny over the last two years.
